Spent the day adding some scripts to the weather station at work. These scripts basically concatenate an infinite number of gif images together into a long animated gif movie. They are used to compile a number of radar images into a single large gif file. This file shows the radar echoes over the past six hours currently. It compiles six-one hour time lapse images into a sequential animated gif. This should give the viewer a much better “feel” for what was going on and where we are headed weather wise. You can check out the images here and watch my projects page for the scripts I use. Of course I will also be posting the Unisys automated ftp scripts and the others used to run the station.
