Looks like I’m coming down the home stretch here. The more time I spend in school the more I enjoy it! Here’s a list of the cool projects I had to write this semester:
- ANSI C: DNS client, basic FTP server, basic FTP client, HTTP proxy, multicast chat client/server, unicast chat client (helped write the protocol specs as well),
- ANSI Common Lisp: rush hour game playing agent using uninformed search (Breadth First and Depth First), battleship game playing agent for tournament play.
- -Linux Kernel Hacks (ANSI C): added a system call to query the number of threads (max and currently running), wrote a firewall using Netfilter hooks that is configurable via a proc interface and maintains statistics (not stateful)
That is in addition to the usual barrage of homeworks… but I won’t waste your time with that. Just check the “School” section in a few weeks if you’re at all interested. All the above mentioned projects and all my homeworks will be posted when the semester ends. Happy Holidays!
